Amin Jalali is an Associate Professor at of computer and systems sciences with Stockholm University. He has established himself as a Distinguished Academic and an Industry Expert. Boasting over 13 years of teaching experience, he has a publication record with more than 30 papers in reputable journals and conferences. His work uniquely integrates academic research with practical applications, particularly in the development of AI-based solutions. This blend of theoretical and hands-on expertise enables him to effectively bridge the gap between academia and industry. He has been invited to lecture at prestigious institutions worldwide. His commitment to academic excellence extends to his role as a Ph.D. Examiner, where he has contributed significantly to the academic journey of numerous doctoral candidates. In addition, he plays a crucial role in shaping the future of academic leadership and governance as an Active Board Member of the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University. His dynamic career reflects his dedication to advancing the field of computer and systems sciences through both innovative research and practical application. He is currently responsible for three master-level courses, i.e., Business Process Design and Intelligence, Business Process and Case Management, and Data Warehousing.  His main research interest is Business Process Management, focusing on Business Process Modeling, Execution, and Process Mining.
