  • This course covers different aspects of managing business processes in organizations including:
    i) modeling business process based on different notations including Petri nets, YAWL, BPMN.
    ii) analysis of business process models using different techniques like reachability graphs.
    iii) Implementation, Configuration, running and adjustment of business process models using workflow engines.
    iv) analyzing business processes using different process mining techniques using ProM and Disco.

Course Name: Data Warehousing (2017 – Now)

  • This course covers the following topics in the area of data warehousing:
    i) Kimball Multi-Dimensional Data Warehouse Modeling and Development Process;
    ii) different techniques and approaches to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data into the data warehouse;
    iii) the design and implementation of OLAP cubes;
    iv) retrieving information from the cubes using various MDX queries;
    v) visualizing information to the customer based on principles and techniques for data visualization.
    We use Microsoft BI Toolset in this course including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Power BI.
